SG BeaverStars with two losses in Wr. Neustadt

In the first match, the SG BeaverStars showed that they could definitely play on an equal footing and the experienced U12 players Ibra, Simon T., Tobi and Tom made it 4-0. After a confident start, the first mistakes in the teamwork crept in, from the 4th inning onwards the Ducks routinely dived past thanks to their strong offense (doubles), final score 7:10.

The second game wasn't significantly different and the result was 6:20, a more than clear affair. The Ducks routinely delivered doubles or home runs, but our students had little to counter them. The key words here would be concentration on game situations, confident defense and safe pitching.

The fact that the playing group can play more and on an equal level was shown again and again by great individual actions, for example from Ibra (steals, pitches), Tobi and Tom.

In any case, the meeting was a good opportunity to let the children play in different positions, such as pitcher or field positions. This Friday we continue with a single game against the Wanderers, we are excited to see how it goes on our own pitch.
