BeaverStars syndicate starts the season with a sweep

Finally the time had come for the U12 kids and they were able to open their baseball season.

In the best baseball weather, our students met the Blue Cubs syndicate in the first game of the season. Solid throws from our starting pitcher Ibra and great hits (an absolute goosebump moment was Ibra's home run, 2 triples from Neo-Metrostar Tom and a double from Tobi) enabled our team to achieve a comfortable 16:5 win.

Game 2 against Attnang was very similar. With Tom as the starting pitcher and Tobi as the closing pitcher, our opponents didn't have an easy time getting on base. Once again there were great hits from our experienced players (Double Simon T, Tom, Tobi), who were able to bring home the important runs. In the end, this game also ended 17:4 for the SG BeaverStars.

All kids were able to bring what they had practiced diligently in winter training onto the field. We're looking forward to it being play ball again in Wiener Neustadt in a few days!
